Tapes, no matter how carefully stored, will degrade over time. You want those camcorder videos of birthday parties, vacations, weddings and other family memories to last, so they can be viewed years from now by future generations. When transferred to DVD they will last, literally, forever. That is the service we offer at Forever Digital.
If your family memories are on 8mm, Hi 8 or VHS, we can transfer them to DVDs for you.
The basic cost is $10 per hour. We can copy them in XP
(1 hour), SP (2 hours), LP (4 hours)
or SLP (6 hours) modes. Copy quality is best at XP, next
best at SP, and so on.
This price includes a jewel case. Shipping to you is
extra and is quoted per order, depending
on the amount of material.
Additional copies (so that you can give them to other family members) are $6 per hour
As an additional service, we can print front and back/spine
labels for you for those jewel cases.
If you have a photo you wish on the label, we can work
with you to get the final product
looking good. This is an additional cost we can
quote once we know your wishes.
If you like, we can print your photo and text directly
on the surface of the DVD. Again, we'll
quote a price for you once we know what you would like.
We exercise great care and discretion with the material
you send us. We strongly suggest that you back
up your material on vhs before mailing it. No matter
how careful one is, there is always something that can happen, and we
cannot be responsible for your material between the time it leaves your
home and the time it goes onto a DVD.
