Rochester
We stopped for a day in Rochester on our way to New York City in May, 2003.  The main objective
was to finally meet my best friend and tape partner Greg (and wife Caroll)  live and in person.  That
was a wonderful and memorable experience.

AND....here we are!   Greg and I on the steps of our hotel, the Inn on Broadway, in Rochester.
Aren't we beautiful??????

Speaking of beautiful,  here am I with Sara and Caroll.
We had the great pleasure of staying our one night at The Inn on Broadway in Rochester.
What a fabulous place.  An old men's club turned into  an inn.  Much like our experience
at the Wentworth Mansion in Charleston....lots of wood panelling and floors and beautiful
carpets and furnishings.  We strongly recommend this as a great place to stay. The hospitality
was exceptional

The Inn was only a couple blocks from the Strong Museum.  While they make a big pitch
as a children's museum, we found it a delightful place for adults.  An excellent collection of
things having to do with everyday life and work.  It was a fun afternoon.

It was also a short and very pleasant walk up East Avenue to the George Eastman house.
Needless to say, the guy who invented home photography made a ton of money, and much
of it went into his house.  They give a nice tour of this den of conspicous consumption, and
we thoroughly enjoyed it.  A must-see in Rochester.
