In 1982, Munro began
producing the After the Party mice in conjunction with
Country Artists (then Richard Cooper & Company) in
England. Victor Hayton was the original sculptor. He
sculpted 4 mice as part of the Natures Heritage line of
birds and animals. When Munro and Richard Cooper
& Company parted ways, Richard Cooper kept the
molds and continued to make and sell the pieces, changing
the brand name to Country Artists in 1987. The pieces below have
been confirmed by Country Artists as being 3 of their 4
Natures Heritage designs by Victor Hayton. I am still
waiting to learn the 4th. In 1984 Munro formed a
partnership with Holland Studiocraft and expanded the
Party Mice line to 8 pieces. The sculptor was Alan
Maslankowski. None of the original 4 molds could be used.
(One must also remember that not all Natures Heritage mice
were Party Mice.) Another sculptor brought on line in 1987
was Andrew Bill, who later designed for Enchantica, a
Holland Studiocraft product line. Munro decided in 1992
that they wanted to expand the line and market it under the
After the Party banner. At this point product was moved to
the Far East so a top quality product could be made at a
more affordable price.

I have yet to run across
anyone who has a definitive list of mice produced by Natures
Heritage. If you know of others, please contact me with the
Name of the Piece and its Holland Studio (HS)
number.
