	A little tale of my humble exsistence The journey of life is not always fun or glamorous. We all embark on this journey and all of us have an unique path. Which direction to take or what decision to make are not always clearly thought out. I am known locally as Downriver Dan Brennan, or DRD by many of my friends. I am a Leo for those that rely on the charts, born on August 11 of 1955. Yes, I am getting a might old! I have been married for the past ten+ years to Becky (she is older than I by a couple years), and we have a beautiful daughter named Jenny who has recently vacated the nest. I work for Payless ShoeSource at the Distribution Center in Topeka. while Becky is employed by Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Kansas. We enjoy the outdoors and all that natures beauty has to offer. I don't have any whitewater that is canoeable here in Kansas, so I must travel in order to enjoy my favorite activity. I come from a rather large tribe, Mom and Dad had 8 of us to clothe and feed, so I am blessed with good company on most of my journeys. I try to get in several canoe trips each year, usually to the Ozarks of Arkansas and Missouri. My brothers are usually along on these trips, and dad sometimes can get away from his hectic retired life to participate as well.
