Smokin' 'Cuda

Sources of Mopar and Other Parts

NOS/repro parts:

eBay. Where I been buying most of my new and used parts, and selling a few, in recent years. Buyer beware ... many parts sellers don't give full disclosure of the parts included, condition, etc., so be sure to ask them questions and to check their feedback, shipping costs, etc.

First Place Auto Products. He (Fritz?) is the manufacturer of the go-wings you see in Year One's catalog. His phone number in Ohio is 330-493-1420, and he regularly runs a small ad in Mopar Muscle.

Gean Gregory of Alhambra Custom Service makes reproduction shaker hoods from flat originals, and many other rare parts. Phone number still 618-488-7941? His eBay username is 'newreproparts'.

Harden's Muscle Car World. A Missouri retailer of mopar parts -- NOS, used, and reproduction.

Jim's Auto. I've bought lots of parts from them.

Mancini Racing. Bought a few engine parts from them; seems competitive.

Mitchel Motors. Be careful with these guys, but sometimes have rare new or used parts.

Mopar Performance. Mother Mopar.

The Paddock, Inc. Only ordered from them a couple of times.

RT Specialties. An excellent source of Mopar restoration fasteners, clips, etc. Very fast service, by phone.

Sherman & Associates. They are distributors of sheet metal for various makes.

Year One, Inc. Used to buy from these guys, especially when they were Mopar only, but now find them to be very expensive. Too bad.

Westoaks. Have bought lots of engine parts via Troy Bray in the performance parts department at Westoaks. Great to deal with; best by phone, and be sure to have the MP part numbers ready before you call.

Bouchillon. Bought some high dollar engine parts, and am now looking at his AC kits.

Here's some vendors of aftermarket parts:

ESPO Springs 'n Things. Bought HD leaf springs, seem fine. But avoid their U-bolts (wrong size); get them from Mopar Performance.

Jegs. Never have ordered from them.

Northern Auto Parts. One order, took weeks to get due to a UPS screwup.

POR-15 from Restomotive Labs. Great stuff, including the prep stuff, but very expensive.

Rock Auto. A mail order vendor of traditional car parts. Great prices , fast shipping, and good selection.

Summit Racing. Have bought lots of hi-po parts from them, e.g., carb, gauges, and also some MP parts (they have an on-line search feature).

The Tire Rack. When you include shipping and local mounting/balancing costs, not low cost but an excellent selection.

Individuals selling parts:

Kelley Bird in Overland Park, KS. He's not on the web, but he specializes in used parts for '70 and '71 Challengers and 'Cudas. His stock is not huge, but maybe he has or can find the part. His e-mail link.

Jeff Larsen's buy/sell/trade list. Bought a few used parts from him years ago.
