Smokin' 'Cuda

Sources of Repair and Restoration Services

Services that I've used:

Abrasive Blasting Services run by Thomas Pyke in rural northeastern Kansas. I don't know if he will do mailorder work, but if you are relatively local give him a call at 785-979-6238.

Automotive Machine & Performance which is a machine shop run by Pat Davis and Clyde Little. They have raced Mopars at the local strips for years. They've done some machine work for me and I'm sure will do more in the future, and will do work via UPS. Pat and Clyde don't have a web site, so call (785) 843-9333 if you have work for them. Clyde, 42, died November 19, 2002 from injuries received in a motorcycle accident. Clyde's brother Doc now works at the shop.

Inland Truck Parts Company, does driveshaft shortening and leaf spring rebowing. They shortened and rebalanced my driveshaft and installed new u-joints in one day. Mine was only $51 (brought in my own NAPA u-joints). The trans yoke and new u-joints are needed to do the job. Call Shawn Green (if he still works there; Tim Marnett is Manager) at their Olathe, Kansas shop at 1-800-223-7559. They will do work via UPS.

Tires Plus. A tires/shocks/alignment, etc. chain.
