WD0CT Welcome to Steve Moore's Home Page. I am a HAM radio operator and my call sign is WD0CT. Many nights, I may be found on 75 meters at 3.835 conversing with my buddies. Please feel free to chime in anytime.

This is a photo of myself and my Wesco boat is 1972. My, what a slim and trim babe killer I was!

Here is a recent picture of me, my friend Steve, (K1TNT; not to be confused with Carbondale Steve or Arkansas Steve) and my dog Missy.

It sure is amazing what retirement and a few Whoppers can do.

This is a photo of the old home front. That's my mom and dog Missy sitting on the porch.

Check out all of the trolls, They are the reason that I have such a BIG signal!

Here is a photo of my current ham radio station. A "Brick On The Key" Alpha 76 amplifier, Kenwood 870 transceiver, high quality home brew tuner, with a Realistic microphone.

Can anybody spell "Gold Handle On The Shithouse Door"?

Here is a drawing and some pic's of a el-cheapo balanced tuner designed by KJ9T

Warning, not a thing of beauty!!

Here is a pic of my buddy Steve's [surplus Steve] main radio room and a pic of him at his main computer desk. Note old National NC 105 drifter deluxe!

This is a small portion of his radios. Featured here are Heathkit, Hallicrafters, National, Royce, Robot slow scan, Hammarlund, Wanzer Z match, D-104, lots of literature [quite a bit is vintage], and several computers not in the pic. Steve also has a semi trailer out back of his machine shop 2/3 full of other Hallicrafters, etc.
